Paul McCartney revisited Abbey Road to recreate the iconic Beatles album cover 49 years after its release.

The original photo was shot on August 8, 1969 by photographer Iain MacMillan. McCartney crossed the road once again on his way to an intimate gig in Abbey Road Studios. His daughter, Mary, captured the moment on video, reports NME.

The former Beatles member played the band’s classics for a small audience. Fans had a chance to enter by submitting a video to McCartney explaining why they should attend.

The 76-year-old is set to release his new record, Egypt Station, on September 7. He’s also going to be on tour later this year in the UK.
