A Guy’s Alexa Partied A Little Too Hard – Almost Got Arrested
Home alone, Alexa decided to throw herself a party.

One of Amazon’s Alexa devices almost got arrested last weekend.
Here’s what happened. According to the Daily Mail, a guy named Oliver Haberstroh who lives in Germany was out of town when his Alexa somehow switched on around 2 a.m. Saturday morning blasting music. As you can imagine, his neighbors were none too pleased and pretty quickly called the cops.
When they arrived no one answered, so they busted the door to find the real culprit was his Amazon personal assistant, Alexa. They pulled the plug and hired a locksmith to come fix the door. So, when Oliver got home he had to go to the police station to get the new keys AND cover the locksmith bill.
After everything happened he said, “When I asked Alexa whether she could pay me back the costs, all I got was a dry, “I couldn’t find any answer to the question.”
