SACRAMENTO COIN SHOW

The Sacramento Coin Show takes places Friday and Saturday at the Lions Gate Hotel at McClellan Business Park

TATTOO-A-THON

Wild Bill Tattoo in Roseville is holding a Tattoo-A-Thon on Saturday to raise money for UC Davis Children’s Hospital. All proceeds from tattoos are donated.

BOK KAI PARADE & FESTIVAL

The 143rd annual Bok Kai Parade takes place in Marysville on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. More events are planned on Sunday, including a rib cook-off, car show and bomb day celebration. There will also be showings of “Turning Red,” the Pixar animated movie

CINESOUL

The Sacramento International Black Film Festival CineSoul takes place on Saturday at the Delta King.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH EXPO

The free 35th Annual Black History Month Expo takes place at the Hyatt Hotel in downtown Sacramento through Sunday. It features workshops, interactive sessions, entertainment, a focus on health, meetings with political leaders, networking opportunities, and more. There’s also a black tie red carpet awards gala and concert on Feb. 25 that will feature Oscar and Grammy-award-winning singer Regina Bell.

ALMOND BLOSSOM FESTIVAL

The 61st annual Almond Blossom Festival in Ripon takes place on Sunday starting at 11 a.m. at Mistlin Sports Park. The event includes festival booths, a carnival and live music.
