For the next several weeks, several libraries will be giving away community donated dresses, suits, accessories, and other formal wear FREE to people between 13 and 19. You must bring your school ID with you to the event.
Things to know about the event from the Sacramento Library Facebook post:
- Clothes may be tried on, but please wear under-clothing that makes it easy to change (e.g. sports bras, leotards) as there will be limited privacy.
- Please don’t wear makeup when trying on items. It can get on clothing and ruin them.
- Adults are welcome to accompany teens, but teens are the only ones that may take items home.
