‘Superman’ Actress Margot Kidder Dead At 69

‘Superman’s’ Lois Lane has died.

Lois Lane has died.  TMZ reports Superman star Margot Kidder has passed away. She was 69.

Kidder rose to fame playing opposite Christopher Reeves in the 1978 blockbuster Superman: The Movie.  Additionally, she went on to reprise the role in three sequels. Recently she had a recurring role on TV’s Brother’s and Sisters and Smallville.  

Despite her success Kidder battled bipolar disorder and made headlines with erratic behavior. She later became an advocate for mental health.

Cause of death is unknown at this time.
