According to Radar Online, the pop star is admitting that she relapsed after six years of sobriety. In the single, she sings:
“Momma, I’m so sorry I’m not sober anymore. And daddy, please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor. To the ones who never left me, we’ve been down this road before. I’m so sorry I’m not sober anymore… I got no excuses, for all of these goodbyes. Call me when it’s over, ’cause I’m dying inside.”

For those who don’t know, Lovato struggled with drugs during the early parts of her career. Her mother spoke about her daughter’s addiction in the past, even saying there was a time when she was scared she would find Demi dead on her bed.
