This year marks the 20th annual Sacramento Museum Day, where you can visit dozens of museums, libraries and cultural center for free.

This year marks the 20th annual Sacramento Museum Day, where you can visit dozens of museums, libraries and cultural center for free. Most are open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., although last guests will be admitted at 4 p.m.). All ages are welcome, and there’s a little bit of everything for everyone.
Here are some highlights:
- Aerospace Museum of California – 3200 Freedom Park Drive, McClellan
- California Automobile Museum – 2200 Front Street, Sacramento
- California Museum – 1020 O street, Sacramento
- California State Capitol Museum – Capitol Building 10 & L Streets, Sacramento
- California State Library – 914 Capitol Mall, Sacramento
- California State Railroad Museum – 125 “I” Street, Sacramento
- Maidu Museum and Historic Site – 1970 Johnson Ranch Dr., Roseville
- Powerhouse Science Center – 3615 Auburn Blvd., Sacramento
- Sacramento Children’s Museum – 2701 Prospect Park – Rancho Cordova
- Sacramento History Museum – 101 “I” Street, Sacramento
The Sacramento Zoo and Fairytale Town are also participating with half-price admission.
