In 2016, Modest Mouse lead singer Isaac Brock caused a 5-car accident in Portland, Oregon. He was allegedly asleep at the wheel.

He failed to stop as he approached traffic in downtown Portland that was stopped and hit a city truck from behind, which caused a chain reaction, reports Billboard. At the time, police found no sign that the singer was intoxicated, so he was fined $425 for careless driving.

On Wednesday, Brock was sued in a Portland court for more than $865,000 by Cassidy Kane, who was driving the car that he hit. She claims that the accident caused herniated disks in her spine and other issues that still give her pain.
