MLB Players Come Up With Some Funny Nicknames To Wear On Players Weekend
By Felicia Czochanski on August 10, 2018
In two weeks, Major League Baseball will be doing its “Players Weekend” thing, where players get to wear a NICKNAME on the back of their jersey, including some bay area players. Hunter Pence of the San Francisco Giants will wear the name ‘Underpants’ on his back. However, Buster Posey is just going with “Buster” which is LAME. Brad Boxberger of the Arizona Diamondbacks is wearing two EMOJIS on his jersey . . . a cardboard box emoji, followed by a hamburger emoji. See… “Box burger.” And, I love this. Rhys Hoskins of the Philadelphia Phillies is going with ‘Big Fella’ . . . so his teammate Tommy Hunter is trolling him by wearing the nickname ‘Bigger Fella. And, maybe my favorite, Shane Bieber of the Indians is going with ‘Not Justin.’
Check out all the nicknames HERE.
