Oh, how the mighty have fallen. The latest Kevin Spacey movie, Billionaire Boys Club, made a mere $126 on the US opening day.

As expected, the film was made before the actor was accused of sexual assault last October. It was the last movie he made before accusations were made.

Despite featuring fan-favorites Taron Egerton and Ansel Elgort as supporting cast, the movie still released in just 10 cities. According to The Hollywood Reporter, it made just under $12.75 at each showing theater. That means only about two people showed up to each screening.

Distributor Vertical Entertainment released a statement earlier this year confirming the movie would still play in theaters.

“We hope these distressing allegations pertaining to one person’s behaviour, that were not publicly known when the film was made almost two and a half years ago and from someone who has a small, supporting role in Billionaire Boys Club, does not tarnish the release of the film,” wrote Vertical Entertainment.

“In the end, we hope audiences make up their own minds as to the reprehensible allegations of one person’s past, but not at the expense of the entire cast and crew present on this film.”
