Unsurprisingly, the news of Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin’s engagement was quite shocking to Selena Gomez. However, it’s not for the reasons you might expect…
According to Radar Online, a source close to Gomez is revealing her reaction to the news. While the singer feels “blindsided,” she’s definitely not angry or upset over it. The source explained:
“At first, Selena didn’t believe the news. [But] she is not devastated by any means. She was the one to end it once and for all with him.”
However, she does not have high hopes for the future husband and wife. As the source put it:
“She thinks the whole thing is a joke, and knows it will never last.”
Ouch, that’s pretty harsh…

On top of all that, the source revealed that Gomez is still getting texts from Bieber even though they broke up for good back in March. The source explained:
“Selena ignores his texts and calls. She really has nothing to say to him, but wishes him and Hailey all the best.”
