First off…SPOILER ALERT!
Sex and the City is back with their latest installment And Just Like That… on HBO Max.
In a shocking first episode we see Mr. Big (Chris Noth) suffer a fatal heart attack after his 1,000th ride on his Peloton bike. Following the heartbreaking episode Peloton’s stock dropped significantly.
With the help of Ryan Reynolds, Peloton clapped back.
In a newly released Peloton commercial, which is narrated by Reynolds and created by his Maximum Effort company, a very much alive Mr. Big sits on a couch with real-life Peloton instructor Jess King, who was also Mr. Big’s virtual coach during his ill-fated ride.
“You look great,” she tells him, to which he replies, “Oh, I feel great. Shall we take another ride? Life’s too short not to.”
In a voiceover, Reynolds says, “And just like that, the world was reminded that regular cycling stimulates and improves your heart, lungs and circulation … Cycling strengthens your heart muscles, lowers resting pulse and reduces blood fat levels. He’s alive.”
