Free Health Clinic At Cal Expo This Weekend

Friday is booked, but appointments are available for Saturday

California CareForce is back at Cal Expo this weekend. Dental, vision, and general medical exams are being offered to uninsured and underinsured Sacramento area residents today and tomorrow.

Last year nearly 2,000 people were received physical screenings, general medical exams, dental screenings, X-rays, cleanings, fillings, extractions, eye health exams, vision exams and custom prescription glasses made on site, according the the Sacramento Bee.

For a Saturday (10/26) appointment, go to Lot D at Cal Expo on Friday (10/25) at 4 p.m. to get a wristband. A limited number will be distributed, and cannot be transferred to another individual. All Friday  appointments are booked, but you can try to get a walk-in between noon – 4 p.m..

For more information, go to the patients tab at californiacareforce.org.

According the the California CareForce Facebook page, they are still in need of one medical doctor to volunteer for Saturday. If you or someone you know is available email Emerald at emerald@californiacareforce.org
