Elk Grove Area Grocery Store Evacuated For Refrigeration Fire

The Safeway store on Elk Grove Florin Road was evacuated Monday morning. The fire that started in refrigerator in the produce department. Sacramento Metropolitan Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire. 

“The store has been evacuated, & there is no current timetable to resume operations,” Sac Metro Fire said in their Tweet.
