Raley’s, Bel Air and Knob Hill are lending a helping hand to the most vulnerable in our community.

Soon, the Sacramento based grocery chain will begin offering seniors in self isolation and at risk customers Senior Essential Bags for $20.

According to Raley’s website, “…our team members will build as many Senior Essentials Bags as they can each night and put them in the front of our stores each day at 7 am. They will be available to our customers each day depending on inventory levels and while supplies last. The items included in bags will be a mix of fresh items and pantry staples. Please be sure to only take advantage of this service based on need so we can help our customers who need it most.”

There will be a limit of one bag per family per day while supplies last. Availability will be on a first come first serve basis with no substitutions. Store pick up only.

“If you are unable to get out of your vehicle, and if we offer pickup at your store, you may park in the designated eCart pickup spot and text the phone number on the eCart pickup spot signage when you arrive. If bags are available, one will be brought out to your vehicle and we will accept cash, check or credit cards outside,” according to the website.

It’s wonderful to see the good coming out in people.
