Australian fans of Dua Lipa just got some very bad news…

According to Billboard, the English singer has had to cancel two of her tour dates for “immediate dental surgery.”

Tour promoter Live Nation released a statement on Wednesday explaining the situation:

“Dua Lipa has unfortunately been advised by doctors to undergo immediate dental surgery and therefore will be unable to perform at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre shows scheduled for tonight and tomorrow evening (March 14 and 15) as special guest for Bruno Mars. She’ll be back performing on the tour as soon as possible.

The “New Rules” singer followed up with her own explanation on Twitter, saying:

“I’m so sorry to have to cancel some of my support shows with Bruno. I’ve been performing with an awful pain due to my wisdom teeth and as advised by my dentist and oral surgeon I have to have them imminently removed… Thank you for your understanding.”

Luckily, the singer should be back on her feet in time for her March 17th show at Quodos Bank Arena.

Wisdom teeth removal is not fun, but it’s better late than never. We wish Dua Lipa the best as she recovers from her surgery!
