Mehagn Markle & Prince Harry have been busy with saving the world one gesture at a time! According to InStyle, the royal couple recently had a live Black Lives Matter discussion via Zoom discussing racial injustices for the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust!
Being the President & Vice president of the Trust, the 2 included QCT (Queen’s Commonwealth Trust) Trustee, and co-founder & Co-CEO Chrisann Jarrett of We Belong, as well as Abdullahi Alim, the leader of “World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers network of emerging young leaders in Africa and the Middle East,” and more speakers involved in BLM.
The discussion focused on the need for justice in the Black community & racism with Mrs. Markle highlighting how racism is obvious and can happen in indirect ways and the ways to change this are “allyship, compassion, and opportunity,” while Prince Harry acknowledges there needs to be better recognition of the matters.
This wasn’t the first time the two have spoken out about BLM and this probably won’t be the last!
