While a clogged toilet can be annoying, it usually isn’t a serious issue. However, one clog at South Mecklenburg High School in North Carolina was so intense, it lead to a school evacuation…
According to Fox News, students and staff evacuated the school on Wednesday after many began smelling an unknown odor. The smell was so bad, students reportedly claimed their eyes and throats were burning.
However, once the hazmat team began investigating, they quickly discovered the source; a clogged toilet. The Charlotte Fire Department explained that a bad clog had lead to severe gas build up in the toilet. When a janitor finally cleared it, the gases released and began affecting students.
