SAN FRANCISCO - NOVEMBER 01: A sign stands outside a Burger King restaurant November 1, 2006 in San Francisco, California. Burger King Holdings Inc. posted a 82 percent surge in its first-quarter earnings for the quarter ended Sept. 30. Total profit was $40 million, or 30 cents per share, up from $22 million, or 19 cents per share, one year ago.

When a 12-year-old asked employees at a Little Rock, Arkansas Burger King for the money in the register, they thought he was joking.

After pulling out a hand gun, the kid made it very clear he was completely serious…

According to THV 11, employees began running to the back of the store after seeing the gun. Probably in a panic, the kid then started shooting and also began running out a back door.

While he initially got away, the kid later came back to the Burger King to turn himself in. Responding police arrested him and he is now facing aggravated robbery charges.

Thankfully, it appears there weren’t any injuries during the attempted robbery.
