I like haunted houses, to a degree, but have never been a huge fan of scary movies. I am not alone, right? Sometime you want the spooky vibes, without the terror.

Vulture came up with a perfect list of the 15 Best Halloween Movies for Scaredy Cats…here are my top 5:

1.  “Beetlejuice”, 1988

2.  “Hocus Pocus”, 1993 

3.  “Ghostbusters”, 1984

4.  “The Nightmare Before Christmas”, 1993

5.  “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”, 1975

Some honorable mentions, “The Craft,” “Edward Scissorhands,” and the classic “Clue!”
