Aerial videographer and photographer, Douglas Thron was filming the eerie destruction left behind by the wildfires in Northern California when he noticed a lone postal service worker slowly driving his clean white truck down the streets of a neighborhood decimated by the fast-moving fire.
Thron told the Mercury News he caught the surreal images of the USPS worker putting mail into a few mailboxes still left standing in the Coffey Park neighborhood in Santa Rosa
Such a tragic and heartbreaking and odd image to watch.
