This season of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ will be an all athlete edition. Rumored to be joining the cast are 2018 Winter Olympians Adam Rippon and South Lake Tahoe’s Jamie Anderson.
Us Weekly reports disgraced ice skater Tonya Harding is also also competing for the Mirrorball trophy. Harding is famous for her feud with Nancy Kerrigan, who also competed on season 24 of the show.
Rippon won a bronze medal in the team figure skating competition in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Anderson took a gold in women’s slopestyle and silver in big air snowboard competitions.
“Ten athletes from all corners of the sports world will be teamed up with the show’s professional dancers and compete on the ballroom floor for a chance to win the coveted Mirrorball trophy,” ABC said.
The full cast of “Dancing with the Stars: Athletes” will be revealed on “Good Morning America” on April 13th.
