The Full Interview With Officer David Corona, Officer Natalie Corona’s Cousin

Officer Natalie Corona wasn’t just an officer in Davis – she was a sister, a daughter, and a cousin to CHP Officer David Corona, who spoke with us this morning.

We all know Officer Natalie Corona by now. Last week, Officer Corona was shot while working a traffic accident in Davis. It was a senseless attack and a devastating loss to our community. Officer Corona was a beautiful woman, very dedicated to her work, and came from a family of police officers.

One of her cousins, David Corona, is an officer with the CHP. We spoke with him on the phone this morning to learn more about Natalie. What sort of person was she? What did she do when she wasn’t patrolling?
