Target To Start Same-Day Delivery In February

Target is launching its same-day delivery service at dozens of its stores starting Thursday. This is probably the greatest news we’ll hear today!

Target is launching its same-day delivery service at dozens of its stores starting Thursday.

At select stores you will be able to order everything from groceries to electronics for same day delivery. The new service, designed to compete with Amazon and Walmart, will launch in Birmingham, Alabama, Tampa and South Florida Thursday, followed by other Florida markets starting February 8th.

Target has previously said it hopes to have the same day delivery option available at most of its stores by the 2018 holiday season. The announcement comes after Target is set to acquire same-day delivery company Shipt for $550 million.
