After announcing an upcoming stadium tour, Shawn Mendes sold out one of his shows within minutes of it going live.

According to Billboard, Mendes’ September 6, 2019 show will take place in Toronto’s Rogers Centre. This stadium concert is also taking place in Mendes’ hometown, and marks the first time the singer will be headlining in his hometown. Additionally, this show will be Mendes’ largest booked show to date.

The concert at Rogers Centre will reportedly wrap up the North American leg of Mendes’ 2019 global arena tour. The date was announced earlier this month, with tickets beginning presale on December 5. After the incredible response, Mendes thanked his fans, saying: “This really was a dream come true to play the Rogers Centre in my home town. “And now to have sold it out is just incredible and something I could have only ever imagined.”

This worldwide arena tour is in support of Mendes’ 2018 No. 1 selling album.
