Selena Gomez’s Next Single May Be About Justin Bieber Breakup
There’s some good evidence that the next Selena Gomez single is going to be all about how she felt post-breakup from Justin Bieber.

There’s a good chance that Selena Gomez is planning to release a single about life post-Justin Bieber.
Since her split with the “Sorry” singer earlier this year, Gomez has kept a pretty low profile. She hasn’t been very active on social media. She also hasn’t publicly commented on Bieber’s sudden engagement to Hailey Baldwin.
It looks like perhaps the 26-year-old was waiting to release her feelings in song format. Elle reporter Mickey Rapkin got to have a sneak peek at her new single that reflects on her relationship with Bieber. Gomez sings about cutting a man out of her life after “1,460 days” and “cleaning my slate.”

Gomez and Bieber dated from 2010 to 2014, which breaks down into 1,460 days. Here’s what Rapkin got down of the lyrics:
“Without you, I don’t overthink it.” Then the hook repeats something like: “I’m drunk and I might as well tell you/Get you ooh ooh ooh out of my head now.”
It certainly wouldn’t be coming out of left field to have the “Back to You” singer release a breakup track. After all, the two were one another’s first loves. In fact, it may even be stranger for them not to write songs post-split.
