Sacramento Is A Test Market For Chipotle’s New Menu Item

Pollo asado could soon go nationwide

Chipotle just announced Sacramento and Cincinnati as test markets for a new chicken option. How did we get so lucky?

This would be the first time in 28 years Chipotle has added a new chicken item to its menu. Pollo asado is made with grilled chicken, garlic, fresh lime, guajillo peppers and hand-chopped cilantro. Yum! You can find pollo asado locally for a limited time, according to CNBC.

If you recall, this isn’t the first time Sacramento has been a test market. Late last year we were also the testing ground for cauliflower rice and brisket.

Starting this weekend Chipotle is offering free delivery for pollo asado orders over $10 from Nov 7 – 14 thru the Chipotle app, and website.
