RECALL ALERT: Coca-Cola, Sprite & Minute Maid

Metal bolts and washers may have made their way into some of these beverages

Coke, Sprite and Minute Maid products are the subject of a voluntary recall because they might contain foreign substances – specifically metal bolts or washers

The good news is California is not affected, but spread the word if you have friends or family living in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New York, North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia, Maine and New Jersey.

According to Food Safety News, these are the Minute Maid flavors being recalled:

  • Berry Punch – coded Jan0422 NP and Jan0522 NP, Batch 0010323455 and 0010259344 (recall F-0276-2022)
  • Strawberry Lemonade – coded Jan0322 NP, Batch: 0010259346 (recall F-0277-2022)
  • Fruit Punch – coded JAN0522 NP Batch: 0010323454 (recall F-0278-2022)

According to Commissary, The Coca-Cola and Sprite beverages being recalled include:

  • Coca-Cola 12-ounce cans: Date Code: AUG 1522 WM B
  • Coca-Cola 12-ounce cans: Date Code: AUG 1522 WM C
  • Sprite 12-ounce cans: Date Code: AUG 1522 WM B

The expiration date is 2022. Either return the products for a refund or throw them out.
