Have you seen “The Power of the Dog“? Spoiler Alert…it has nothing to do with dogs, but it could raise a LOT of money to help rescue dogs at Sunday’s Oscar ceremonies.

Pet company, Pawp, has made a promise. Each time that the film Power of the Dog is verbally mentioned during the Oscars telecast, Pawp will donate $10,000 to animal rescues. The pet company is dedicated to donating up to $1,000,000 to help shelter pets during this year’s Academy Awards.

“The Power of the Dog”, which stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons and Kodi Smit-McPhee, is nominated for 12 Oscars, including best picture, original score, film editing, sound, and production design. It’s this year’s most nominated film, so there should be plenty of mentions, which means more money for the pets!
