This may be hard to believe, but it had been 29 years since Oprah Winfrey had been in a bank – until recently when she decided to be just like one of the normal people.
Oprah revealed to Ellen DeGeneres during a segment of “Burning Questions” that she didn’t know why she hadn’t visited a bank since 1988, so she walked in, stood in line and deposited a check for $2 million!
Oprah also revealed:
- Favorite smell in the world? Lemon and eucalyptus
- What’s something that makes her feel good? Rolling in the grass with her dogs
- Her go-to karaoke song? “Respect” by Aretha Franklin
- Advice she’d give her 21-year-old self? “Relax, girl. You’re gonna be alright.”
