Netflix Is Raising The Price, Again

Tuesday Netflix announced another price increase. 

The new price for the standard plan is now $13.99 a month, up $1. A premium subscription will now cost you $17.99 a month, up $2. Meanwhile, its basic plan remains unchanged at $8.99 a month.

“We’re updating our prices so that we can continue to offer more variety of TV shows and films,” a Netflix spokesperson said in a statement, according to CNN.

The new pricing plan is not sitting very well with Netflix customers, who stormed Netflix’s social media with threats to cancel the service.
