McDonalds To Serve Muffin Tops (And Seinfeld Writer Wants Cut)

McDonald’s breakfast sales have been slumping, so to rejuvenate the menu and create some excitement they’re adding Muffin Tops to the menu! (Sound familiar? The idea was pitched on a 1997 episode of Seinfeld.” And now the show’s writer wants a cut or a podcast sponsorship). The muffin tops will come in 3 flavors, lemon poppy seed, blueberry and double chocolate and are expected to hit locations nationwide soon. I just hope they come up with a better name for them… because ain’t no one want to ever order a “muffin top!” Although as Dan points out, haven’t they been selling muffin tops all along? *wink wink*
