Kim Kardashian is considering a possible career change, after revealing she’s studying to become a lawyer.

According to People, Kim Kardashian West participated in an interview with Vogue, where she shared her desire to pursue law. She reportedly decided last summer to join a four-year apprenticeship with a San Francisco law firm. Her ultimate goal is to take the Bar sometime in 2022.

Last year, Kim made waves in the legislative world, when she helped commute the life sentence of Alice Marie Johnson, a non-violent drug offender. After successfully petitioning President Trump to commute the sentence, the act led to the passing of a criminal justice reformation act called the “First Step Act.” With her heavy involvement in the legislative process, Kardashian West cited that moment as a catalyst for her desire to pursue law. “I never in a million years thought we would get to the point of getting laws passed,” she admitted. “That was really a turning point for me.”
