Kim Kardashian and Kanye West recently welcomed their third child into their home via a surrogate. While carrying the child of a celebrity couple might sound good in theory, there were many restrictions you’d never expect…

According to Radar Online, Kimye ‘s contract with the surrogate forbid a laundry list of popular foods during the pregnancy. For instance, many types of cheese were a big no-no:

“[No] consuming, at any time, mold-ripened soft cheese, including, but not limited to, brie, camembert, chevre, blue cheese, and gorgonzola.”

That’s just the start of it. It went on to ban “raw or partially cooked eggs, raw or undercooked meat, cold deli meats, hot dogs, any and all live products (excluding yogurt), all pates, meat spreads, liver, supplements containing Vitamin A, raw peanuts, unpasteurized dairy and juices, raw sprouts and any unwashed fruits and vegetables.”

Also, we’ve got to hope the surrogate wasn’t a sushi fan because many types of fish was also off the table! While “consuming tile fish, raw shellfish, mackerel, raw fish, smoked salmon, or swordfish” was not okay, she could eat tuna. However, it could be “no more than six ounces” per week…

The contract went beyond just food though. The surrogate also had limitations on other things, including no hot tubs or saunas, aromatherapy, essential oils, hair spray, pesticides, and paint fumes. There was also no teeth whitening or tanning, and a number of common medicines were out.

So….. what was she actually able to do then?

Well, she could get a massage, but only under very specific guidelines. She could also get manicures and pedicures, but only while wearing a protective mask.

All in all, for all that hard work avoiding practically everything while still being pregnant, the surrogate only made $68,000. That’s a good amount of money, but pretty tiny considering Kim and Kanye’s massive net worth.

Thankfully, the surrogate seems happy anyway. She’s supposedly a huge fan of the couple and did not mind agreeing to all the crazy demands.
