Reservations are now required to drive into or through Yosemite National Park during peak hours through Sept. 30. While the park is open 24-hour a day, peak hours are considered everyday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.. The restricts are a result of several construction projects and a reduction in parking.

You can purchase reservations for $2 at recreation.gov.  The reservations are required in addition to normal park entrance fee. Those with annual passes and other special entrance passes also need to make reservations. The reservations will be good for three consecutive days.

If you’re planning to visit outside of peak hours, you won’t need reservations. However entrance fees still apply.
