How To Get Your Free At-Home COVID Test In Sacramento County

Gaining access to at-home tests has been a challenge

Sacramento County Public Health is offering free at-home COVID rapid test kits through Sacramento County Libraries and the Folsom Public Library

The testing kits are accessible at all local libraries (Rio Linda Library and Southgate Library are temporarily closed) on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last. Each kit contains an two iHealthy COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Tests with results taking 15 minutes. There is a limit of two test kits per person.

No library card is required. 

Look for the curbside pick-up sign at any Sacramento Public Library location during regular business hours. Text staff to let them know your are waiting.
