Despite the long rivalry between the LA Lakers and the Sacramento Kings, basketball fans here in Sacramento are feeling the loss of one of the greatest to ever play the game. Kobe Bryant was one of 9 people killed when a helicopter crashed near Calabasas in Southern California on Sunday. Kobe’s daughter Gianna was also on-board.

The Kings plan to honor the late NBA legend tonight at the Golden 1 Center during their game against the Thunder. As for specifically how, The Sacramento Bee writes, “The Kings will air a special tribute video followed by a 24-second moment of silence prior to their game against the Thunder on Wednesday. They will have an additional in-game tribute video during the first quarter.”
