With the lighting of the Old Sacramento Tree tonight, the season of lights is underway in Sacramento.

Tonight’s Old Sacramento Tree Lighting begins with pre-show holiday performances at 4:30 p.m. The tree will be lit at 6pm. Kings’ Mascot, Slamson, is among the special guests attending the ceremony.

Also in Old Sacramento…performances of The Theatre of Lights show start this Friday! The show is a live production of “Twas the Night Before Christmas” and a live dramatization on the balconies above K Street in Old Sacramento. Click here for more info on this free show.

The Elk Grove Christmas Tree will be lit up this Saturday, Nov. 25 at 6 p.m. following the Dickens Street Faire. The Dickens Street Faire will feature over 125 arts and crafts vendors in Old Town Plaza from 10am to 4pm.
