Remember the chicken sandwich wars of 2019? Not sure who actually won as they are all delicious. This Saturday, we are all winners as Popeye’s is celebrating the sandwich that started it all.
This Saturday, August 12, is the anniversary of Popeye’s launching their chicken sandwich. You may remember how fast it sold out and how hard it was to get in 2019. Well, this Saturday, you can get a free one with the Popeye’s app.
Just buy a classic, spicy, blackened or bacon and cheese chicken sandwich combo on Saturday, and Popeye’s will give a chicken sandwich for free. For the free a la carte sandwich, customers can choose between the classic, spicy or blackened chicken.
The offer is only available on the Popeyes app or on Popeyes.com, but is good for pick-up or delivery.
