Gene Simmons’ Rock And Brews Finally Under Construction At Cal Expo

The company has a 20-year lease with Cal Expo for a restaurant and an entertainment center with mini golf, batting cages and a go-kart track

Attention KISS Army, Gene Simmons and band mate Paul Stanley are finally breaking ground on the Sacramento location of Rock and Brews – two years after it was announced.

The family friendly, rock and roll themed restaurant was originally scheduled to open this fall on the northeast corner of Cal Expo, where Paradise Island sat several years ago.

As previous reported by the Sacramento Business Journal, the company has a 20-year lease with Cal Expo to operate a restaurant with craft beer and farm-to-fork food, and an entertainment center with miniature golf, batting cages and a go-kart track.

Rock and Brews offers an energized dining and entertainment experience, serving good old fashioned (and affordable) American comfort food, as well as a broad selection of craft beers. The chain, which launched in 2012, has about 20 restaurants worldwide and are apparently dog friendly, too – according this the Instagram post below:
