8. Dance On The Edge in Old Sac

When: Every 2nd Saturday on the month – October 9th, 2021, 6PM – 10PM

Dance on the Edge in Old Sac is a free summer Latin dance series at the Old Sacramento Waterfront. The monthly dance and music experience is hosted on 2nd Saturdays on the Embarcadero and features dances lessons and musical performances by DJs and artists. The highlight of each event is their open accessibility of dance and music to the public. Discover how salsa and bachata create unforgettable memories in the community by spending the night dancing alongside the Sacramento River, and having the Tower Bridge as your backdrop while the sun is setting. Find a weekly gathering of food trucks and many mouthwatering options in Marysville! Please use online ordering for a 100% contactless meal ordering experience. All food truck personnel will have gloves and masks. We ask that you bring a mask as well for your protection and those around you. 14. El Panteón de Sacramento 2021

El Panteón de Sacramento is the re-imagination of a traditional Mexican Día de los Muertos celebration in a small town cemetery. With dancing, music, family and community altars this is one of Northern California’s signature Día de los Muertos events.

Cordova Recreation and Park District’s annual Halloween at Hagan event is back!

Join us at the Hagan Community Center for trunk-or-treating, carnival games, a zombie run, themed obstacle course and more! Before heading inside for all the action, your little ghosts and goblins can enjoy collecting treats at the annual Trunk-or-Treat in the Hagan Community Center parking lot.

Face coverings are required to attend the event and participate in all activities, including the Trunk-or-Treat.

 24. Sacramento Photography Month 2022

When: April 1st – 30th 5pm

Where: Viewpoint Photographic Art Center 2015 J St., Sacramento, CA 95811

A variety of diverse and eclectic events are planned that include special exhibits, receptions, Open Call competitions, meet-ups, workshops, lectures, photo shoot gatherings, and more. Photography Month Sacramento creates a shared platform for galleries, museums, educational institutions, libraries, retail establishments, photographers, and patrons to celebrate and elevate the art of photography. Interested participants are encouraged to create or highlight their own exhibits, displays, lectures, receptions, workshops, demonstrations, temporary public art displays, art walks, photo shoot meet-ups, and other special events to help showcase the art of photography. First launched in 2018, the biennial collaborative visual arts celebration has expanded to include Sacramento, Placer, Nevada, Yolo, and El Dorado Counties.
