Dog Tests ‘Weak Positive’ For Coronavirus!
If you’ve been exposed to the Coronavirus…maybe don’t kiss the dog.

I did a double-take when I came across this story, but it’s real!
According to CBS News a dog has tested positive for Coronavirus! Okay, the rest result was actually ‘weak positive’ but it is believe to be the first known example of a dog testing positive for the virus, and of human-to-dog transmission.
“The dog was found to have a low-level infection of the coronavirus after being tested repeatedly for the disease, a spokesperson for Hong Kong’s Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) said in a statement.
The department first tested the dog on February 26 and later detected low levels of coronavirus from its nasal and oral samples a day later. Officials repeated both tests this week, finding it resulted in “weak positive” for the virus.”
No word yet on if people need be concerned, but if you’ve been exposed to the Coronavirus…maybe don’t kiss the dog.
