It’s always heartbreaking when a young life is lost, so it’s natural that Disney Channel star Cameron Boyce’s death has been a shock to the fan community. Boyce, who starred in “Jessie” and was a part of Disney’s “The Descendants” was only 20 years old. His parents said that his death was a result of a previously-diagnosed medical condition, but little else.
Until today.
“The fatal seizure that Disney Channel star Cameron Boyce suffered was caused by epilepsy.
His family told People magazine that Boyce’s “tragic passing was due to a seizure as a result of an ongoing medical condition, and that condition was epilepsy.”
The family asked for privacy as it plans his funeral.” – KCRA
In his short life, Boyce established himself as a philanthropist, and his star was on the rise. He was set to appear in a new HBO series debuting later this year called “Mrs. Fletcher.”
