Bruno Mars recently took to social media to post a mysterious photo of what appears to be himself in a recording studio.
According to Billboard, Mars took to Twitter on Wednesday (October 16) to post the cryptic photo. In the photo, Mars is seen reclining, with his classic black-and-white Vans sneakers kicked up on a stool. In the background, a pair of keyboards are seen, seemingly set up in a cozy recording studio. Adding to the mystery of the picture, Mars chose not to add any additional comment to provide context, only adding a single emoji of a tropical drink.

This lack of explanation led to excited speculation from many fans and followers. One user excitedly speculated: “OMG IS BM4 ON THE WAY?”. “Yes!!!!! Making more music!!! Cant wait to hear!!” another fan commented. If new music is, in fact, in development, this would mark the first solo music from Mars since 2016ās 24K Magic. 24K Magic swept the 2018 Grammy Awards by winning album of the year, record of the year, and song of the year. Recently, Mars also collaborated with Cardi B and Ed Sheeran with two separate, well-received singles.
