Christmas Tree Permits for ElDorado National Forest Are Available!

I’m sure you’ve heard about the Christmas Tree shortage this year. Lucky for those of us here, in Sacramento, the perfect Christmas Tree is a short drive away! Starting today, you can get a permit to cut your own Christmas tree in the El Dorado National Forest. The permits are $10 per tree, with a limit of two for each household. There will also be a $2.50 processing fee. “The 2021 tree quota is expected to sell out quickly and no additional permits will be issued after they sell out,” the USDA said on its website.
