A new survey finds most Americans don’t care how they’re greeted during the holidays. So… what say YOU? Do you care how you’re greeted?

A new survey finds most Americans don’t care how they’re greeted during the holidays. According to a poll by the Pew Research Center, 52 percent of American adults polled said it doesn’t matter what kind of holiday greeting they get when they visit stores in December. That’s up from 46 percent in 2012. However, 32 percent still want to hear “Merry Christmas” when they’re shopping, but that’s down from 42 percent from 2012. Another 15 percent of those polled said they’d like to lose the religion and prefer “season’s greetings” or “happy holidays.” That’s up from 12 percent in 2012. For the survey, Pew polled 1,503 adults ages 18 and older from November 29th through December 4th.
