This Thanksgiving, a Santa Clarita farm would like you to cuddle turkeys instead of eating them. Why would you want to cuddle a turkey? Well, according to The Gentle Barn, turkeys are not only intelligent, but they are also affectionate. Every Thanksgiving, The Gentle Barn hosts a celebration of turkeys by giving people the chance to hang out with the turkeys, feeding them treats and cuddling them.

This year’s celebration is November 24 and you can still get tickets for a day of yummy vegan pie, hot autumn drinks, music, games, crafts and of course, turkey cuddles. The best part is…all proceeds support the sanctuary and the animals who live there. These animals give back by providing therapy to help heal people experiencing trauma, or simply wanting to experience a greater sense of joy in their lives.
