If you didn’t have the opportunity to visit Burr’s Fountain in East Sacramento before they closed last month, you’ll have one last chance.
This weekend, four former employees will be opening up the shop for a final sendoff for their beloved owner, Jim Burr, according to The Sacramento Bee.
Along with the four volunteers, Burr’s son Darren will be scooping eight flavors of ice cream on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additionally, most lunch items will also be available.
