Every year Zillow puts out a list of the best cities in America for trick-or-treating. They crunch the numbers dealing with home values, walking distance between houses, crime rate and the number of residents under the age of 10.

California dominates the list this year with five of the top 10 cities: 

Here are the Top 10 Cities for Trick-or-Treating:

1. San Francisco
2. San Jose, California
3. Philadelphia
4. Long Beach, California
5. Los Angeles
6. Baltimore
7. Sacramento
8. Washington, D.C.
9. Milwaukee
10. Seattle

Zillow breaks it down even further into the best Sacramento neighborhoods:

• Brentwood (east of Sacramento Executive Airport)
• Upper Land Park (Southwest Sacramento between Riverside and the Sacramento River)
• South Oak Park (West of Hwy 99 between 12th Ave and Fruitridge)
• Village 12 (Country Center Dr west of Natomas Blvd.)
• South Hagginwood (Del Paso/Marysville Blvd area)
