Asparagus Festival Is Back On At New Location

The San Joaquin Asparagus Festival is back this year at a new location.

Out of habit, I’ll probably always refer to it as the Stockton Asparagus Festival. Typically held in April, this year’s 4-day event is taking place May 13-16 at the Stockton 99 Speedway.

According to the event’s WEBSITE,

“In 2021, we have decided to make a location change as well as prepare for the event taking place during such unprecedented times. Face masks will be required for entry, keep 6′ distance from those who did not travel with you to the event, wash your hands and/or use hand santizer (sp) frequently.”

There will be plenty of Deep Fried Asparagus and Asparagus Ice Cream to go around.
